Aggregation and related issues

As various problems concerning legacy aggregation (how it worked) and how we want to move forward to future aggregation are likely to accompany our travails for some weeks to come, this page has been added to link to specific pages.
Aggregator presents a diagram of the aggregating steps.
AggregatorMappingDoc describes the processes that were involved in constructing the mapping.xml file for IDP1 (legacy aggregation).
